Reconnect the Figma integration after a workspace transfer
3 min read
When a Figma team or workspace is transferred, the OAuth token Anchor Cloud held for it stops working — live previews freeze at their last render and new .fig files show a grey placeholder.
- 1 Go to Settings → Integrations → Figma and click “Disconnect” to clear the dead token.
- 2 Click “Connect” and sign in with a Figma account that has access to the new (post-transfer) Figma workspace.
- 3 Existing previews regenerate automatically within about an hour of reconnecting.
- 4 Need one file right now? Open it in Anchor Cloud and choose “Refresh preview” from the file menu to jump the queue.
If previews still fail after reconnecting, the connected account likely lost access to specific Figma projects in the transfer — check access in Figma itself before retrying.
